Webinar on Making School Choice Work

In a webinar co-hosted with the Center on Reinventing Public Education (CRPE), senior research analyst Ashley Jochim shared findings and lessons learned from CRPE's first year of research on DCSRN's High Quality Schools Campaign (HQSC), a partnership funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. After the presentation, Executive Director David Pickens and parent advocate Natasha Ettienne participated in a Q&A and discussed their insights on how to make school choice work for all communities.

Virtual School Tour: KIPP DC KEY Academy

DCSRN recently launched the virtual school tour of KIPP DC KEY Academy, a quality public charter school located in Ward 7. Follow 6th grade students as they engage in an English lesson, sit in on an Orchestra class, and learn about what makes KEY Academy feel like a family from a teacher who was a former KEY student.

May 1st: Common Enrollment Deadline 

If your child received a match through the DC common lottery, you have until Tueday, May 1st to complete enrollment. To enroll, fill out the school's enrollment forms online and remember to present your proof of DC residency and completed My School DC seat acceptance form at your child's school in-person.
