Meet Farhana Rabbi, Manager of Program Data

Farhana RabbiDCSRN is excited to announce that Farhana Rabbi has joined the DCSRN team as the new Manager of Program Data! As a program manager, policy researcher, and educator in Houston, Farhana became strongly passionate about issues of access and opportunity for under-served communities. She moved to DC in June 2016 to complete her Masters in Education through the Johns Hopkins University and pursue work in education policy and programming.

Since then, she has worked with a variety of government agencies and community groups in DC, including the Office of the Student Advocate housed in the State Board of Education (SBOE), Parents Amplifying Voices in Education (PAVE), Teach for America (TFA), and Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE). She currently works full-time with Raise DC, a cradle-to-career collective aimed at spurring citywide action through cross-sector partnerships to improve educational outcomes for DC's children and youth.

Farhana comes into DCSRN's Manager of Program Data role after two years of experience as a Parent Advocate working with both primary and secondary lottery applications. She looks forward to pushing her expertise forward to continue serving our students and families!
