Barbara High specializes in training educators, parents, and community leaders on how to bridge the gap between home and school. Barbara was formally the Director of the Family Learning Center at the Hyde Leadership Public Charter School from 2000-2007 and the Assistant Head of School from 2007-2008. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Southeastern University in Washington, D.C. and a Master of Arts degree in Management and Leadership from Webster’s University in St. Louis, Mo. She is currently pursuing her PHR in Human Resources. In June 2000, Barbara was the only African-American woman to be selected as one of UPN Channel 20’s Women of the Year as their “Making A Difference” honoree.
